Stock perpetuals: trade Nvidia or Tesla from Telegram
A stock perpetual is a contract that tracks a share price, with no expiry date. On Hyperliquid you trade it in USDC, long or short, with leverage, weekends included. In StratiDex it takes three taps: the market, the direction, the amount.
Steps
Find the stock
In the Menu, tap π Trade (or send /trader), then the π icon to open the Stocks tab. You can also tap π Search and type the ticker: NVDA, TSLA, AAPL.

What is a stock perpetual?
It is a contract that follows the price of a share. It has no expiry date: your position stays open as long as you want, and you close it whenever you want.
You do not own the share. You take a position on its price: up (buy, or long) or down (sell, or short).
To keep the contract close to the share price, buyers and sellers exchange a small periodic payment: funding.
Can you trade Nvidia on weekends?
Yes. Hyperliquid stock perpetuals also trade on Saturday and Sunday, while the US stock market is closed. You can open, add to, reduce or close a position at any hour.
Weekends usually see less trading. If the gap between the buy price and the sell price gets wide, the ticket warns you before you confirm.
Cross or isolated margin: which one applies?
There is nothing to choose. StratiDex uses cross margin when the market allows it, and isolated margin when the market requires it.
- Cross margin: your whole account backs the position.
- Isolated margin: only the margin shown backs the position.
When a market requires isolated margin, the ticket says so next to the leverage. Your position screen always shows which mode applies.
How much leverage on a stock?
Each market has its own cap, shown on its screen. On Nvidia it goes up to 20Γ. By default the ticket offers 2Γ, and its buttons go up to the market maximum.
Leverage multiplies the size of your position, not your stake. The higher it is, the closer the liquidation price.
Which stocks can you trade on Hyperliquid?
100+ stocks: Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Korean names such as SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics. The full list is on the Stocks page.
Stocks are HIP-3 markets: markets deployed on Hyperliquid by third parties. In total, StratiDex covers more than 300 markets, grouped by family: crypto, indices, gold and oil, currencies and pre-IPO companies.
Frequently asked questions
Can I trade a stock going down?
Yes. On the market screen, tap Sell instead of Buy: you open a position that gains when the price falls, a "short". You lose if the price rises. There is no share to own or borrow. The ticket, the leverage and the protection work exactly as they do on a buy.
How much do I need to trade Nvidia?
An order starts at $11. To fund your account, send USDC on the Arbitrum One network: deposits are credited from $5. The path: Menu β π My funds β π₯ Deposit. If your account is empty, the Menu offers π Copy my address right away. Details in Deposit.
Are the fees the same as on Bitcoin?
Not quite. On a HIP-3 market, the deployer can add a share to Hyperliquid's exchange fees. Our commission is the same on every market. The details are on the Fees page. In π§Ύ Performance your result is net: fees are already counted in it.
