Forex perpetuals on Hyperliquid
Forex perps on Hyperliquid are HIP-3 markets: a third-party dex deploys a perpetual whose oracle tracks a currency pair, and the whole contract settles in USDC. You take exchange-rate exposure, long or short — euro, yen, Korean won — without ever holding the currency. StratiDex opens and closes them from a Telegram chat.

What these markets are, and what they are not
StratiDex reaches 305 markets: 177 native Hyperliquid crypto markets and 128 HIP-3 markets deployed by third-party dexes (xyz, io, mkts, para). Currency pairs sit in that second group. The oracle follows the exchange rate; margin and settlement are in USDC. What you buy is a derivative, not the currency: no bank account, no deposit interest, no delivery of euros or yen at the end. A long on the euro gains or loses on the price the oracle prints, and a move against you can liquidate the position.
How to trade them in three taps
Everything happens in a conversation with @stratidex_bot — nothing to install. The bot creates an account in your name and the private key stays exportable. You fund it with USDC on Arbitrum One only, credited from 5 USDC, and the smallest order is $11. Pick the pair, the direction and the size; the confirmation screen shows the leverage, the margin mode, every fee and the exact liquidation price before you press anything. Cost on a forex market: 9 bp of StratiDex commission plus 9 bp of venue taker fee at entry, plus the spread (on a native crypto market the venue takes 4.5 bp). Leverage is set per market and StratiDex starts you at 2×. There is no automatic stop-loss and no take-profit: a price alert is a message, not an order. A referral link takes 10% off the StratiDex commission, for life.
Currency pairs are HIP-3 markets, so they keep the hours set by the venue that deployed them and can be paused; the bot tells you before you trade. The native crypto perps next door run continuously — the two calendars are not the same.
FAQ
Do I actually own the currency?
No. A forex perp is a derivative settled in USDC: the oracle tracks the exchange rate, and there is no bank account, no interest and no delivery of euros or yen.
What does a currency trade cost?
9 bp of StratiDex commission plus the venue's taker fee. On a HIP-3 market the deployer adds a share of the protocol fee it sets between 0 and 300%; 127 of the 128 HIP-3 markets sit at 100%, so taker there is 9 bp instead of 4.5 bp, and the spread comes on top. The figure appears before you confirm.
Can I place a stop-loss?
Not automatically. StratiDex sets no stop and no take-profit: a price alert arrives as a Telegram message and you still send the closing order yourself. The liquidation price, on the other hand, is shown before every confirmation.
What do I need to start?
Telegram and USDC on Arbitrum One. Deposits are credited from 5 USDC and the minimum order is $11. Leverage depends on the market: StratiDex starts at 2× and the table shows the maximum for each pair.
