Deposit USDC to Hyperliquid without losing it on the wrong network
A StratiDex account takes one deposit route: native USDC on Arbitrum One, sent to your Hyperliquid address. Below 5 USDC the bridge refuses the transfer and the amount stays on the Arbitrum address instead of being credited. USDC sent on Ethereum, Polygon, Base or Optimism, or any other token, does not reach your trading balance.

What the deposit address accepts
Your account is created inside the Telegram conversation, in your name on Hyperliquid, with a private key you can export at any time. The deposit address is an ordinary Arbitrum address. It accepts one asset, on one chain, above one threshold — and only if you send to the address itself.
| Constraint | Correct value | What happens otherwise |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Arbitrum One | The USDC lands at your address on the chain you used and is never credited |
| Token | Native USDC (not USDC.e, not USDT, not ETH) | The bridge does not credit it; the token sits on the Arbitrum address |
| Amount | 5 USDC or more | The bridge refuses; the amount stays on the Arbitrum address |
| Destination | The address shown in the bot's deposit screen | A mistyped address is usually rejected as invalid. If it happens to be valid, the funds go to an address you do not control and nothing reverses it |
Depositing from an exchange
- In @stratidex_bot, open the deposit screen and copy the address it shows.
- In the exchange withdrawal screen, select USDC as the asset.
- Select Arbitrum One as the network. Exchanges label it Arbitrum, Arbitrum One or ARB. Never ERC-20 / Ethereum, never Polygon, never Base, never Optimism.
- Paste the address, then compare the first four and last four characters with the ones in the bot.
- Enter an amount that arrives above 5 USDC. The exchange deducts its own withdrawal fee first, so what counts is the amount received, not the amount typed.
- Confirm, then watch the balance in the bot: it moves once the bridge credits the transfer.
The network menu is the step to slow down on. It is not always set to Arbitrum by default, and the choice cannot be undone once the withdrawal is confirmed.
Depositing from a self-custody wallet
- Switch the wallet to the Arbitrum One network.
- Check that the token you hold is native USDC on Arbitrum, not the older bridged USDC.e and not USDT.
- Keep a small amount of ETH on Arbitrum. The transfer is an ordinary ERC-20 transaction and the wallet pays gas in ETH.
- Send 5 USDC or more to the address copied from the bot.
- Watch the balance in the bot rather than in the wallet: the wallet shows the transfer, the bot shows the credit.
If you want a test transfer, make it 5 USDC or more. A smaller test is not a test: it is a sum you will only get back by exporting your key and moving it yourself.
How to check that it went through
Two checks settle most cases: the transaction exists on the Arbitrum explorer, and the token inside it is native USDC. If both are true and the balance is still empty, the amount was below the threshold.
| Stage | Where to look | What you should see |
|---|---|---|
| Exchange processing | Withdrawal history on the exchange | Pending, then a transaction hash. How long this takes depends on the exchange, not on Arbitrum |
| Arbitrum confirmation | Arbiscan, searching your deposit address | An incoming native USDC transfer |
| Bridge credit | Balance in the bot | Credited automatically, nothing to do on your side |
| Nothing visible at all | Arbiscan on your address | No incoming transfer means it has not been broadcast yet, or it went to another chain or another address |
The mistakes that cost money, and the way out
| Mistake | What happens | Way out |
|---|---|---|
| Sent on Ethereum, Polygon, Base or Optimism | The USDC arrives at the same address on that chain. The Hyperliquid bridge never sees it | Export the private key from the bot, import it into a wallet, switch to that network, fund the address with a little gas, move the USDC yourself |
| Sent USDT, ETH or bridged USDC.e on Arbitrum | The token sits on the Arbitrum address, uncredited | Export the key, then move or swap the token from that address |
| Sent less than 5 USDC | The bridge refuses. The amount stays on the Arbitrum address, uncredited | Send a fresh transfer of 5 USDC or more. Recover the stuck amount with the exported key only if it is worth the gas |
| Typed the address by hand | At best the exchange rejects it; at worst the funds reach an address nobody you know controls | Nothing recovers it. Copy-paste, then check eight characters |
| Deposited between 5 and 11 USDC | The balance is credited but no order can be placed | The minimum order is $11. Top up |
| No ETH on Arbitrum in a self-custody wallet | The transaction cannot be broadcast | Buy a little ETH on Arbitrum, or withdraw straight from an exchange on Arbitrum |
Withdrawing, and what everything costs
| Operation | Cost | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit | Nothing from StratiDex | The bridge consumes Arbitrum gas, billed in USDC |
| Withdrawal to Arbitrum One | $1, taken by Hyperliquid | Arrives as native USDC on Arbitrum |
| Transfer to another Hyperliquid account | Free | Stays inside Hyperliquid |
| Entry on a native market | 9 bp StratiDex + 4.5 bp Hyperliquid taker | Plus the spread |
| Entry on a HIP-3 market at a 100% deployer share | 9 bp StratiDex + 9 bp Hyperliquid taker | 127 of the 128 HIP-3 markets on 07/09/2026; one market (para) is at 50%, so 6.75 bp of protocol fee |
| Arriving through a referral link | 8.1 bp instead of 9, for life | 10% off the StratiDex commission |
Orders are placed with a Hyperliquid agent key. The protocol forbids an agent key from withdrawing: it can open, close and read, never withdraw. Withdrawals themselves go through StratiDex servers — that is the trust point, and it is stated plainly on /security rather than left out. The account is in your name on Hyperliquid and its private key is exportable at any time. The full fee detail is on /pricing.
How much to deposit for a first position
- 5 USDC: the bridge credits it, and that is all it does.
- $11: the minimum order size on StratiDex.
- $20 to $50: enough to open a position, keep margin behind it and absorb the fees.
Leverage is capped per market: up to 40× on BTC, 20× on NVDA, 50× on some markets, across the 305 markets listed on /markets. StratiDex starts you at 2× by default. The confirmation screen shows the exact liquidation price and the cost before you validate, and nothing else protects you: there is no stop-loss, no take-profit, no automatic exit. A price alert is a message, not an order. At 40×, your margin is 2.5% of the position, so the liquidation price sits close to the entry price — read it on the confirmation screen, and read /risks before your first order.
FAQ
What network do I use to deposit USDC to Hyperliquid?
Arbitrum One, with native USDC. No other network credits your balance. If your exchange lists the network as Arbitrum, Arbitrum One or ARB, that is the right one.
What is the minimum deposit?
5 USDC. Below that the bridge refuses the transfer and the amount stays on the Arbitrum address. The minimum order on StratiDex is $11, so $20 to $50 makes a more usable starting balance.
I sent USDC on the Ethereum network by mistake. Is it lost?
No, as long as you control the key. The USDC is sitting at the same address on Ethereum. Export the private key from the bot, import it into a wallet, put a little ETH there for gas and move the funds. On a small deposit, Ethereum gas can cost more than the amount you are rescuing.
How do I check that my deposit arrived?
Search your deposit address on Arbiscan. The exchange broadcasts the withdrawal first, then Arbitrum confirms it; the wait on the exchange side is the part you do not control. If no incoming transfer appears on Arbiscan, it has not been broadcast yet or it went to another chain.
How much does it cost to withdraw from Hyperliquid?
$1 flat, taken by Hyperliquid, paid out as native USDC on Arbitrum One. Moving funds to another Hyperliquid account is free. StratiDex charges nothing on deposits or withdrawals: its 9 bp applies only to executed orders.
Do I need to verify my identity to deposit?
No document is requested. The account is created in your name on Hyperliquid and the private key is exportable at any time. Hyperliquid's restricted jurisdictions still apply, and checking that perpetuals trading is legal where you live is on you.
